David B Atkinson

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1971 and joined Gerald Edelman as a Partner in 1996. Prior to that, he was a Partner in a medium-size Central London firm and has held senior positions with Grant Thornton and BDO Stoy Hayward.
David retired as a Partner in Gerald Edelman on 30 June 2011 but retains various client and technical responsibilities as a consultant to the Firm.
He has a wide and varied experience of technical audit, accounting and legal matters and sits on a number of committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, dealing with technical matters.
Personal
Away from work, David enjoys playing golf, travelling, supporting his national rugby union team and spending time with his wife.
