Simon Hosier
Trust Manager
Simon joined Gerald Edelman in September 1979 as an audit junior. In 1982 he transferred to the Trust Department and became the Trust Manager in 1986.
The department has in recent years considerably expanded and now employs an additional three members of staff. He is responsible for dealing with different types of Trust established for a variety of reasons including tax planning and family provision.
In latter years increased emphasis has been required on the charitable sector due to the regulatory changes that have been instigated. Simon has been involved with the provision of advice to various charities and dealing with the preparation of the required statutory accounts.
The department also has expertise in estates including dealing with the initial grant of probate and the administration required thereafter.
